Professor Orit Nuttman-Shwartz, Acting Head of the School of Social Work at Sapir, facilitated a group of international peers from the School of Social Work at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

During the meeting, the participants discussed a range of issues, including: using online materials to work with children and adults in trauma and disaster situations. They arranged to meet again this coming weekend.

Nuttman-Shwartz, who specializes in treating trauma and resilience situations, concluded that: "The encounter was emotional and difficult, however, the participants’ resilience and fortitude was outstanding.”

The International Association of School of Social Work Schools (IASWW) organized this initiative. Prof. Nuttman-Shwartz is the IASSW Israel representative.
