Dr. Dan Kaufman, Head of Sapir Academic College's MA Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Organizations, has received a prestigious international award for Cadenza.
Selected from among hundreds of applicants, Cadenza was named one of the three most impactful initiatives worldwide in the field of Music Tech and Urbanism at this year's annual Music Cities conference, organized by Sound Diplomacy, one of the world's leading organizations dedicated to the development of music ecosystems.
Cadenza has developed dozens of weather resistant public pianos installed in public spaces across Israel and around the world, including on the Sapir campus, where a piano stands outside Building 5. The initiative enables anyone to play freely and combines technological innovation with a social vision aimed at strengthening communities and encouraging meaningful connections through music.
This international recognition highlights the powerful connection between academic research, entrepreneurship, and innovation, while bringing pride to Sapir Academic College and its contribution to developing solutions with global impact.
