Recently, Sapir hosted a delegation from the German Federal Ministry of Education and from ConAct – the Coordination Center for German-Israeli Youth Exchange. The delegation arrived in Israel to sign an agreement for youth and young adult exchanges between the two countries for 2026. Additional participants in the visit included representatives from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from the Israel Youth Exchange Authority.
The delegation members arrived at Sapir after visiting the Nova site and met with Dr. Uri Lev, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Limor Flanter Faran, Head of the International Office. The two presented the collaborations between Sapir Academic College and academic institutions in Germany, such as the long-standing course in the Department of Public Administration and Policy led by Dr. Muli Bentman, “Inclusion and Exclusion in German-Israeli Relations.” As part of this course, joint studies have taken place, including reciprocal visits between Sapir and the University of Bremen in Germany. They also expressed Sapir’s interest in establishing new partnerships with higher education institutions in Germany.
