The Passage

USA, Belgium| 2011 | 89 Min | English | Fiction | Hebrew Subtitles

A woman in her 60s with terminal cancer embarks on a trip to West Texas to visit a Mexican healer that could possibly cure her. She travels along with two people that she met by chance: a man recently out of jail, and an artist who is hitchhiking around Texas. Shot in a raw documentary style and featuring almost exclusively real-life characters, "The Passage" follows the woman’s inner journey as she faces her own mortality, while providing a glimpse of the underbelly of the American South.
