While watching the rushes of a film shot in El Gara, the Moroccan village where I spent part of my childhood with my father, I realize that it was precisely in this place where I was really founded, in a mutual recognition. It is this intimate relationship to places, people and events that the film "My Thursday Souk" aims to explore, through unpublished rushes, real treasures lying in boxes since 1994.
