Arthur, encounters a situation in which he fears losing his soldier son, dear to his heart, serving in a military operation. This brings up repressed memories from his past, in which he served as a mercenary against an enemy in the snows of northern Norway, where he experienced a tragic experience when he lost a friend close to his heart who fought by his side, similar to now.
