Synopsis
Tali & Gili move to a new home at Kibbutz Zohar in the Negev. Tali studied acting and showed great potential in the past but couldn’t break through. Now what’s important is her family, her children. Shortly after moving to Kibbutz Zohar, Gili is found to be suffering from a rare degenerative disease. They decide to hide the news from everyone and hope a cure is found soon, but the disease creates tension in their relationship. They grow apart. One day she meets an old friend, he invites her to join the circus theater in Sdarot. Gili’s condition worsens. Tali sits alone by his hospital bed, feeling guilty and alone. Tali realizes she can’t continue this way. In the middle of the night, Tali looks at him with tenderness, opens the morphine handle until he stops breathing. She cries. On a stage in Sderot’s theater, the spotlight is on Tali as she takes center stage.
