Sapir College is proud to announce the establishment of its first Unit for Teaching Innovation and Excellence, a strategic initiative placing teaching excellence and the student learning experience at the heart of Sapir’s academic development.

The new unit will foster innovation in teaching, support faculty development, advance new approaches to learning, and promote the thoughtful integration of AI and emerging technologies into the classroom.

By investing in teaching excellence and equipping faculty and students with skills for a rapidly changing world, Sapir is strengthening the quality, relevance, and impact of its academic experience.

The new unit is headed by Ms. Efrat Lieberman, Dean of Teaching and Learning, an educator and pedagogy expert with more than three decades of experience in teaching, academic development, and educational innovation. Lieberman has led teaching advancement at Sapir for many years and has extensive experience in digital learning, faculty development, empathetic pedagogy, and the integration of new technologies in higher education.
