The Cinema South Festival on the Road - the travelling version of the film festival following the communities evacuated from Sderot and the south - and symbolically, on International Cinema Day – will conclude with a special event to be broadcast from the Sderot Cinematheque, without an audience.
We are hoping that the Sderot Cinematheque will soon return to full activity, and are excited to begin preparations for the 23rd Cinema South Festival, which will be held in its natural home, the Sderot Cinematheque, throughout the city and the Western Negev, on November 7-14, 2024.
As part of the closing event, which will take place immediately after an industry event on the status of Israeli cinema in the world - the winners of the various competitions will be announced:
