One rainy night, eye surgeon Tami Sasportas discovers that she’s lost the key to her apartment. She arrives at her parents’ house to pick up the spare key. When she can't find that either, she is left with no choice but to spend the night on their couch. In the dead of night, she hears her parents talking about her, and learns a thing or two about herself and the intimate choices of her life.
