Our keyword was “exposure.” Exposure of the South from within the divide, exposure of the filmmakers and exposure of the people themselves. Along with the exposure, we used textures that celebrate cinema through the projection of the materials and the emphasis on the small pixels that make the cinematic experience what it is.
