Synopsis
Erez (18) and Nevo (17) are two champion swimmers from Israel hoping to win an Olympic gold medal. During their training period, Erez falls deeply in love with Nevo and understands that winning the gold medal is less important than winning Nevo’s heart.
Adam Kalderon | Director
Born in Kibbutz Beeri ,1981. Lives and works in Tel-Aviv as a Director, Screenwriter, Costume- Designer, Art Director and a video & sound artist.
From the age of 9 to 21 years old he was a professional swimmer in the Israeli Swimming Team. After moving to Berlin, where he recorded his first solo album as a singer – 'ADAM', he came back to Tel-Aviv to direct his first feature film, Marzipan Flowers.
From 2013 he is the costume designer of Yasmeen Godder Dance Company for CLIMAX, Lie Like A Lion (2015), Common emotions (2016).
In 2013 he was nominated for two Ophir Awards (Israeli academy awards) for best art director and best costume designer for the film Six Acts, Diretor by Jonathan Gurfinkel. In 2014 he was nominated for Ophir Awards (Israeli academy awards) for best costume designer for his film Marzipan Flowers.
In 2015 won a development award in Darom Film Festival for his next film The Swimmer.
In 2015 he was writing, directing and produce his short film Before the Break that was shown in New York and Milan.
Naama Pyritz | Producer
A graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York, Naama Pyritz has been working in the film and Television industry in Israel for over 20 years, She has produced several documentary films and TV series, including “Six on Sixty” (2008), “Dudu Geva” (2007), “Connected” (2010), “Citizen Aloni” (2008) and many more, she has also produced all of the international artist Yael Bartana’s video works, including the Polish trilogy “And Europe will be stunned”, which represented Poland in the 54th Venice Biannle, (2011). In 2014 after many years as a freelance independent producer she has started up “Ingenue” her own production company.
