Communication does not happen in a vacuum. To create intelligent and effective communications, one must know the nature of the relationships between the communicator and consumer−as well as the contexts and platforms that operate and transmit the message.
Sapir' Communications Department's rigorous academic studies explore current theory and research while examining contemporary communication’s channels and methods. This dynamic approach enables students to consume and examine media critically, to understand the complex manipulations behind advertising and gain effective digital media tools and strategies.
Our innovative program specializes in digital media, journalism, radio, TV, marketing, advertising and public relations. With a focus on complex and emerging media markets, we offer students the skillset to work in evolving multi-channel options. In addition, we operate two Double Major BA degree tracks in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Studies and Technological Marketing Departments.
