Let’s Move

01/11/2026 | 18:30 | Outdoor Plaza of the Cinematheque

Right after pitching, we’ll move out to the body: A movement session in the main square, led by choreographer and dancer Dege Feder – inspired by Ethiopian dance, where music, movement, and story are one. We’ll explore how the body breaks down and reconstructs movement, expresses emotions, and tells a story. We’ll finish up with a rhythmic dance from the Gurage people, and move on to free dance to the sounds of music deejayed by Dege, in a space of personal freedom, movement, and story. At the end of the session, the winner of the Moving Image production grant will be announced.
