From Spark to Screen - Masterclass with Ari Folman
How does film come to life? What course does it follow from initial spark to the screen? Sohini Tal, artistic director at Southern Line hub, and Ari Folman, director of “Waltz with Bashir”, explore documentary animation, creation, and healing, and trace a line from Folman’s groundbreaking work to his current endeavors.
At the end of the event, the winning projects will be announced for short southern docu-animation grants, and the Southern Line 2.0 call for submissions will be launched.
The conversation will be preceded by a screening of Michael Buchstav Jacob and Oshrit Gedalya's film:
