Lili’s summer holidays take an unexpected turn when her mother pressures her to ask Dorsday, a family friend, for money to keep her father out of prison. That night she loses not only her dignity, but every certainty she once had.
THE EXPOSURE is a drama inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s novella Fräulein Else, about a young woman pushed to a moral breaking point. Deleila Piasko (“Transatlantic,” “Die Zweiflers,” “Der Schatten”) delivers a gripping performance alongside Milan Peschel, Jan Bülow, and Katharina Schüttler.
Shot entirely in a studio using 3D projections on 16mm film, THE EXPOSURE is one of the first independent films to fully embrace virtual production. It opens up new creative and ecological possibilities for telling historical stories through the lens of green, sustainable shooting.
