After a decade of touring the world with his band theAngelcy, Rotem Bar-Or devoted the last few years to working on his first solo album in Hebrew. Now, with its release, he brings his powerful new songs- already being hailed as a “masterpiece”- to join his well-known work in both Hebrew and English.
In this debut album, Bar-Or offers beautiful Hebrew songs that open a window of faith into the reality of this land, this world, this era, and the human spirit. There’s a willingness here to go deep into the heart of things, and to keep seeing the good even in darkness.
With that voice of his, and his hypnotic guitar, backed by wonderful and soulful musicians, Rotem Bar-Or comes to be part of a shared creative act- of building a new reality from deep fracture.
