Gabriel D’Angelo wakes from a nightmare to discover that his beloved Naama, a young woman from a religious background, has disappeared. He travels to Jerusalem in search of her. His journey brings him into contact with the city’s Italian-Jewish community, to which his family belongs, and especially with Alexandra, Naama’s friend, who tries to help him.
