Iman, an Iranian refugee fleeing for his life, arrives on the Greek island of Lesbos and becomes a theater teacher at a refugee school founded by young Israelis. As he bonds with the children, they help heal his emotional wounds, and he becomes a source of hope for them. Together, they create a play about the refugee experience. Just as Iman begins to feel safe and at home, tensions on the island erupt, culminating in a fascist attack that burns the school down. Now, Iman must choose whether to give in to the fear and trauma that haunt him or find the strength to keep going-for the sake of the children who see in him their only foundation of safety and hope.
