The Student Documentary Pitching Event, founded by Osnat Trabelsi and produced by the Israeli Documentary Forum and the Cinema South Festival is in its 18th year.
The enterprise promotes young filmmakers and their integration in the documentary film and television industries.  Projects from all film schools in Israel are included and the filmmakers are prepared and receive advice before the event. Projects will be pitched to a lector committee comprised of representatives from broadcasting networks and film funds. The winning projects will receive production grants in the tens of thousands of shekels, courtesy of the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund and KAN – Public Broadcasting Corp.
Facilitator and mentor: Udi Nir, director, producer and representative of the Israeli Documentary Forum board ("Viral Dreams", "Golda").
