The RIFF (Rome International Film Festival) is an indie festival that has been taking place in the city of Rome, Georgia for 20 years. Like the Cinema South Festival, celebrating its 21st anniversary, both festivals take place in the "peripheries", both offer a graduate film competition and present young, bold and independent content.
Cinema South Festival is proud to host a delegation of eight guests from the RIFF, including the festival's artistic directors – director and producer Michael Dunaway, artistic director Louis Black (South by Southwest Festival) and Seth Ingram, division chair of film studies at Georgia Highlands. A screening of the upcoming RIFF student films will take place at the Cinema South Festival while the RIFF will screen select graduate films by students of the Sapir College School of Audio and Visual Arts.

Participating Projects:
The Emmisary  Bryan Tan | Peggy  Justin Miller Encounters  Brad Kennedy, Luke Pilgrim|
